hi I’m Corine! Pronounced Cor-in  

I’m from Victoria, Canada where I grew up bouncing around and walking on my hands. By the age of 22, I had the opportunity to fulfill my wildest dream touring and performing for Cirque du Soleil. The pursuit of that goal was all encompassing, as was life on the road with the show for 7 years. It was everything I had dreamed of and more! I can still smell the popcorn, the sweat, and the feel of that pre-show buzz. Living in calm and clarity, knowing that I was exactly where I was meant to be.

Before the age of 30, I decided I had achieved what I had set out to do and my body definitely agreed! I was ready to move on to the next chapter… or so I thought. As it turns out, I found myself incredibly lost and broken.

This left me questioning my entire existence:  Who am I without that defining purpose and career as a Circus Performer, Athlete?! What do I “DO” now? And more importantly, is anything going to give me that level of fulfillment again? What if nothing gives me purpose or passion again?

For years after retirement, I couldn’t imagine feeling complete without the outside validation I got from performing and achieving that level of mastery again. Until now, I have a new passion to share…

Along with being a certified Personal Trainer, in the midst of completing my Pilates certification, and a mom of two bouncy boys; I spend most days trying to catch my breath & finding ways to FEEL GOOD. And now discovering how important PASSION AFTER PURPOSE is!

MY FAMILY

I met my amazing husband, Sergey, in Cirque du Soleil. With Sergey originally form Kazakhstan and me, from Canada, we began our love-life together while performing 10 shows a week, living as citizens of nowhere but under the blue and yellow chapiteau (circus tent).

After years and years of stage life, globe-trotting, and living out of suitcases, we began to crave putting down roots, having a “home” and starting a family. And although it took us quite a bit of time and effort to settle into our new chapter in Canada, we have two beautifully spirited boys that remind us everyday that this our new circus!
